Dispute Resolution
The Litigation and Arbitration Division has vast experience in complex cases, both in court and in domestic and international arbitration. In addition to our high rate of successful cases, the firm prides itself on having a high percentage of cases completed by settlement and/or conciliation; approximately 65% of disputes handeled by us are negotiated with satisfactory results of our clients.
Real Estate and Registry Law
Our office has extensive experience in all types of real estate transactions and developments. The Public Law, Public Contracting and Economic Regulation Division assists private companies as well as public entities. We have participated in the structuring of proposals of private initiatives for public concessions and bidding proceedings, as well as in the negotiation of agreements with the State and processes of sectorial regulatory improvement. In addition, we have extensive experience in handling contentious litigation, sanctioning procedures, and various claims before regulatory bodies.
Intellectual Property
The Industrial Property Division has a very important degree of specialization. Its lawyers are 100% devoted to studies and registrations of trademarks, licenses, patents and all types of health registrations. The Department covers trademark registrations throughout LATAM and the rest of the world, thanks to its important network of IP expert firms.
Wealth preservation, Wills and Probates
The firm is actively involved in assisting its clients with wealth preservation schemes, as well as in the tailor-made preparation of various types of wills. At the same time, a large number of probate proceedings are carried out before Notaries and in the courts. We are currently representing more than 6 probate proceedings from different Courts in the Unites States.
Energy and Renewables
The Energy and Renewables Division serves multiple national and international clients in the hydroelectric, photovoltaic, wind energy, geothermal and biofuel sectors, which participate in the different phases of the supply chain: Generation, Transmission, Distribution, and Marketing. Our practice has recognized experience in advising and conducting regulatory improvement processes in the energy sector. Finally, we have vast experience in dealing with bidding processes, concessions, and negotiations of government contracts (Law 7200); as well as administrative claims before Energy Regulation agencies.
