He currently serves as a Junior Associate in the Arbitration Department of Hulbert Volio Abogados, where he applies his deep knowledge in commercial law, probate process, and the analysis of contractual binding force and effects.
In the academic field, Mr. Araya is an Assistant in Commercial Law at Universidad de la Salle Costa Rica, contributing to the discipline’s advancement and demonstrating his outstanding skills in oratory and argumentation.
Additionally, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and actively participates in the Arbitration Commission of the ICC Costa Rica Chapter. He is also certified as an Insolvency Mediator at CICA, underscoring his commitment to effective dispute resolution. He is currently in the process of becoming certified as an international mediator.
